You are so right....I know longer tuck. I am at that stage of my life where I suffer from the furniture disease. My chest has slid into my drawers. All kidding aside I can pull my pants up over my belly and then my belt is up around my tits or I can put it below my belly and my belt is around my knees. Forget putting it where I used to have a waist. It sure as hell ain't staying there.
The best part about being retired with plenty of money is my wife and I couldn't care less what people think of us. We put up with the shit for 35 years we don't have to do it any more. Some people say they don't give a shit, when we say it we really mean it.
In response to the OP I think the people he is referring to know they don't look good, they just don't give a shit. I see many people who look like idiots to me but then I have to remind myself how far removed I am from mainstream society. I am sure I looked stupid to many in the early 1970's with my hair down to my ass and my torn jeans and tie dyed peace flag tee shirt.
