Leroy's mobile sports wagering

Has anyone tried this? Leroy's has an app for Android & Blackberry's that allows for sports bets to be made from a smart phone or tablet device. This would be a dream come true for me if I could place bets from my home in Los Angeles. Bets can only be made within Nevada.

I'm taking an educated guess that the smart phone app has some sort of location information when you connect to Leroy's that would not allow wagers from outside Nevada.

I don't know the technical how's etc, but in a similar manner to the way sites "know" from your ISP address that you are in a certain geographic area.
