If I'm going to play, would like to play with those who know so when i screw up or say/do something stupid and get laughed at,at least it'll be by someone i know, and not some strangers. Any reply here or PM I would really appreciate as it would be something i might like, and i definitely have the extra time to do it now. Thanks!
Say, the League specifies a 15-player draft and a 9 player team. Each week jatki99 will select from his 15, 9 to play as specified by the rules, f'rinstance, 1 QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, & 1Defense(D). (n.b. In the real world players have bye-weeks; jatki99 would've considered that when he drafted his 15 players; he wants to have an active player at each position each week.)
Each week jatki99 may trade players with other teams. He may also drop a player in exchange for a player not owned.
Each week each team faces one other team. Each player and the D score points based on detailed League rules, f'rinstance, TD=6pts, FG=3pts, 1pt for each 10-running-yards, 1 pt for each 25-passing-yards, 2pts for an interception by the D, etc.
The League will specify how many teams and the weekly schedule. The number of teams and structure of the league vary: e.g. there may be 10 individual teams or 3-Divisions-with-4-Teams-each or something else.
The Season may comprise anywhere from, say, 10 to 17 weeks; most leagues don't go to week 17, because in the real-world top teams may rest their best players. Playoffs among the top teams usually take 2 weeks.
DonDiego has played on CBS Sports and the NFL. He's only played free games; they are totally free, no charge, no money exchanges hands, no remuneration to/from/by either party. But one may play for money; each player contributes one player takes all; sometimes overall prizes too for best players in all the leagues.
If there's a season, DonDiego will likely play. He'd welcome jatki99 to play in his league, because he loves playing against newbies.
DonDiego would not be averse to playing in a league comprising LVA Fora participants. However, he really hates when players quit in the middle of the season; it's unfair to the other players because it affects the outcome; an un-managed team usually loses benefitting those who play it. So if there were an LVA-League and there were a quitter, DonDiego would mock him, . . . forever.
