The CBO measured over 2 million jobs - directly. It is impossible to measure the number of small business jobs that were saved or created by 2 million employed people giving them business.

When Democrats owned the legislature their top priority was infusing the economy with money, tax cuts, and incentives. When Republicans owned the legislature their top priority was Bengazhi. And Boilerman's been cheering them on the whole way - just like he cheered Bush's trillion dollar economic stimulus bill in Iraq.
Here's a fun chart* from Calculated Risk. Three times as many private sector jobs have been created during the Obama presidency than under Bush. But you already knew that.** But here's some stuff you did not know.

  • When it comes to creating taxpayer funded government jobs, Reagan leads the way, with Carter a close second.
  • When it comes to private sector jobs, Clinton kicks ass.***
  • At the rate they were going, the 12 years of the W and GHW Bush presidencies would have needed 48 years to produce the jobs created during just the 4 years of the...Carter administration. (Third time's the charm?)

    * Will the coward who always accuses me of faking stats after the fact please challenge me on any of these numbers right now? Pretty please?

** If you didn't know that, change the goddamn channel. There are evil people making serious money pandering to your profound ignorance.

*** "Centrists" who dig on Reagan for creating a great economy will now explain that the president doesn't have anything to do with job creation.
  • Assuming that the 2 million number is correct & it is questionable since it includes the nebulous "saved jobs", the $800b cost of the program works out to $400,000 per job

Thats almost as brilliant as your analysis that measures economic growth in Food Stamps.

Of course, you ignores ll the water, road, energy infrastructure that came with it too....and scientific research....and half of the 800 billion was tax cuts which was immediately met by marching mental patients in Washington complaining about their high taxes.

Can professor Hoops tell us the dollars/job ratio created in the 70 million dollar Bengazhi trial?

Here, let me make this thread smarter.

How are those Hillary and Obama favorability numbers looking?
Other than an occasional thought and post on this site, Boiler doesn't think much about Bengazhi. Unless the GOP is able to get control of Hillary Clinton's computer server, then she has again destroyed evidence to keep her out of jail. I wonder if the IRS consulted with Hillary on destroying evidence, 'cause she's outstanding at it. The IRS is less efficient at covering up, but they're still trying hard.

With all the money Obama spent, the economy should have been far stronger. Other anti-business policy slowed things, plus the business concerns over debt.

Obama spent near a trillion bucks and we got almost nothing for it.

    Good.

His are significantly up over the past year and on pace to be better than most recent Presidents at the end of their terms not named Bill Clinton. (That guy was beloved.)

    Gallup

And hers are almost identical, 46-50 a week ago, and much better than anyone's she's likely to face in the fall of 2016.

You're not very good at this.
