Life is Beautiful 2016

We are starting to plan our September trip to Vegas and are looking at spending 9/23 - 9/26 downtown. I found out the dates for the Life is Beautiful festival are 9/23 - 9/25. Has anyone been downtown during the festival? How crowded is it? Any info would help. Thanks.

I've never been but I know hotel rates all over town shot way up.

If I were you I would rethink that plan...while the turn out I think is reducing, it is crazy busy down there. My friends go and I decline.

We're looking at staying at MSS. We wouldn't mind attending some of the festival but were wondering if it's a little less crowded at MSS?
