Link Exchange Question

I am starting a link exchange campaign and want to invite LVA users to exchange with us. What is the best way to go about doing this without violating any LVA TOS and policies? I am asking because I don't want to upset the mods by asking inappropriately. Thanks in advance for your time!
Maybe communicate directly with LVA staff
Anybody do those anymore poor seo.

I was going to do it more so for networking and getting the name out there. Not so much for SEO. from what I hear link exchange is no longer good for SEO.
Doesn't help the new site, and potentially hurts the older established site. Build your inbound links by uploading to the various Video sites and in 6-8 months you will have a good PR. Then consider non-direct-2way exchanges with other established sites.

Anyway you can put a link in your signature here, but I'd do the video, and Facebook first.
I looked over your site, (I am assuming it is the one in your signature you want to promote) I also assume you are targeting the Keywords in your META tags. Does you page show up in the search results you want?

My suggestions for your site:
1. I don't know what service your using for your hosting, but step up to some cheap self-hosting, and forum software all of your urls resolve to www.lvrealestatehelp.com. I assume this is some sort of frame set-up to forward to your domain. The biggest problem with your current set-up is all you great content is getting lost. Word Press could replace your existing set-up if you don’t want to mess with a forum. In any event you need to be able to replace your non index pages with say this www.lvrealestatehelp.com/short-sale/ for your specific pages so the search engines can find them and the keywords in the URL if not overdone help tremendously. Your never going to get a decent ranking for the terms you want on your current setup

2. I don't think all those link backs to your social media pages are doing you any good especially so prominently on your page. Given the location and the number of them Google probably sees them as spammish. I'd do away with all of those and replace them with buttons to your Twitter, Facebook and maybe Google Plus account. The correct way to use them is as links into you site not links both into and back out.

3. This: The LVrealestateHELP Team and Broker/Founder Robert Adams hope this page with assist you with: Answering your Real Estate Questions and Comments in our Las Vegas Real Estate Forum. Doesn't need to be on there. It isn't that visible to the naked eye so it looks sort of spammish to both potential visitors and search engines.

4. Replace your image header with a nice high rez photo instead of the low rez one you are using. Replace your text logo with a cheap more professional looking graphical based one.

5. You have developed a lot of nice content in your forum turn some of that into videos and upload them to the video sharing sites. (I have specific ideas on how you can do this if you want my help)
.
6. Finally spruce up your Facebook Page with high res images from Las Vegas. Facebook is mostly a visual medium.

Just trying to help.
That Kummy knows his seo.

Thank you for the advice. I am actually talking to a few different webmasters to see my options. The current site was built to help build up my content and capture current leads. I am planning to have a pro redesign my site using my current content but with much nicer looking front end and graphics as well as create a solid SEO plan. The site has served it's purposed for the last few years but our team is expanding and it is time to take it to the next level. Thanks again for your help!

The News / RSS page won't likely be doing you too many favours, nor the number of outbound social links on the "About Us" page.

Be sure that your pages contain lots of geographical references not just to Las Vegas, but also to suburbs within - after all I assume you want to target not just people who want to come to Las Vegas, but people already living there who may wish to change suburbs.

Be careful of link exchanges, unless you are receiving inbound links from GOOD QUALITY and RELATED (to your content) websites. e.g. an inbound link from a hairdressing website won't do you any favours at all in the long term re SEO / Google.

"Blog" says nothing. "Las Vegas Blog" is better. Target those longer keyword strings to have more chance of being unique for your content in google searches...

Good luck - I may even be tempted to buy a property myself. :-)
