Lions Share Hit

Initially, I was crestfallen when I heard the news; I planned on hitting that sucker in two weeks. Then I started to think about the Asian couple that was next in line to play the machine....Doh! Talk about a day late and a dollar short......

Glasses can affect your vision; especially when they have been emptied several times....

Do they get to keep the machine though?

that would be cool but slot machines are not legal in almost every state for your "home use"

There are actually quite a few states that fully allow them, and quite a few more that allow "antique" machines:

Ohio Gaming on state legaility of slot machines

They never got a dime---or a dollar from me! When I stayed there...it must have been around 20 years ago....I could never get near the machine.

Doesn't it seem strange that the jackpot was only 2.4 million after so many years? I now they reduced the amount of machines down to only one left, but they had plenty of years that they had plenty of machines going.

MGM is retiring the machine now that it's hot!

I wonder if they will replace it with something similar? Between the money it made them directly and the draw appeal it had to bring people in the casino...I'm guessing management would wish it to be around for years to come.

I have no reason to visit MGM now.
"Linda and Walter Misco of Chester, N.H., won the $2.4 million jackpot".

"Walter is a retired horse farmer from the small town of Chester, N.H., population 3,000."

Ironically, a friend of mine at work (here in MA) lives in Chester, N.H.
