Heh, I could correct a lot of the rumors that I read about on numerous Vegas-related boards, but I already have a full time job. Just got tired of reading the same rumor over and over again about this slot.
Also, I'm guessing MGM won't commit to giving the machine away, as there's too many jurisdictional laws that would have to be addressed along with such an offer. If they made the offer, and someone wins it that cannot legally own it in their place of residence, they'd probably have to offer some kind of substitution....and realistically, an old coin-dropper slot is only worth a couple hundred dollars when selling to a wholesaler...not worth the hassle of making it an ironclad offer.
