Lion's Share

We're spending a lazy Sunday afternoon in Macau, China, planning for our trip back to Vegas in December and watching Vegas Vacation. Had never noticed this, but the movie shows a sign in the background referencing the Lion's Share jackpot at $1,044,815 (as they're walking into the keno parlor). Kind of interesting watching a movie from 1997, and seeing a jackpot that had never hit until a few months ago in 2014.

I believe that is what is known as an "Easter Egg"...little pieces of trivia in a movie that are somewhat hidden and not of use to the plot...but interesting. I'll have to look for it next time I watch =)

Easter egg hunting in movies is a pastime of ours. That said we have never done so on Vegas Vacation.
