Living social, entertainment.com

Does anyone remember the old entertainment books that had bogo coupons for every restaurant in town? I haven't seen one for years, not that I've looked really. Anyway, living social is running a promo for $6 online ap that I am assuming is the same type deal. I liked the one time price for all year better than groupon as they didn't expire til year end and you didn't purchase each one separately. This would be nice if it was the concept I think it is. The description doesn't really give enough details.
I remember the Entertainment books. I don't know if the offers are as good in years past, but here's a link of its current form.
I buy one every year. You get the book with its coupons and then access to coupons as well.
I usually wait until February when they are usually about half price.
Unlike other cities, the Vegas Entertainment book has very little in big fast food chains. No Burger King, McDonald's or the usual suspects.
Some great pizza deals, though.
I used to get one as well my first few years here, but now I usually have too many comps to use. Lol. Hmm, my budget probably needs a little work. I will see if this link has a better description. Thanks. Being the only local gambler, the friends usually don't go to casino restaurants.

I'm going to carefully look at this year's list. There were a number of notable omissions in last year's. Biggest was the numerous $5 off coupons for Smith's grocery. In the last few years they went from $5 a month to a quarter to semi annual to none at all.
The pizza place across from the Hard Rock alone is worth it to me.
I have always found almost always you at least get your money back to something you would have done anyway. But we do tend to eat mainly at the casinos or small family owned places. If you get one I'd like to know a few of the better ones. Still debating. My calendar is up in the air, so I haven't committed but seems a no lose deal.
I'm coming to vegas this year, and bringing the following: Las Vegas Advisor POV (with membership), American Casino Guide (book), Entertainment Book for Las Vegas, Savearound Las Vegas. That's a whole lot of coupons, and in previous years I've found the combination to be VERY powerful. All of these are WELL worth the money. Use one or two coupons from any book and you're making savings equivalent to the book price or more. The Entertainment and Savearound books both come with free online apps, with even more coupons.
I'm not familiar with Savearound.
I have never heard of save around either.

My main issue is that there are so many places in vegas to try we rarely have time. Sadly, we don't go many places Twice because we just don't get to them again. My rating for a restaurant though is a "cravable" menu item. Every restaurant should have one item that brings you back again and again.

More than not, I go cheap because many restaurants are mediocre at best. I detest Olive Garden, red lobster and just about all middle class sit down chains. Ugh! I have gift cards to outback, Fridays and applebees for a few years.
I bought an Entertainment book yesterday. I has a choice of 2 books for $35 or one for $24.50 and went with one. Then they gave a choice of online only for $19.50 or book and on line for 24.50. Went with the book.
