Local Indiana boy makes PGA debut

Patrick Rodgers of Avon, IN is currently one under par after 8 holes in this first pro effort. He's the #1 ranked amature golfer in the World and tied Tiger's single season wins record at Stanford this year. I met him briefly at Westchase Golf Club about four years ago after a high school tournament, but never figured he'd be this good.

The kid has a long way to go on his first tournament, but he's -4 and tied for 16th after the first round. Go Hoosier Boy!

Red numbers in his debut round is great.

Looks like he finished at -4 and is 1 over today through 4 holes. Lots of golf left, but he's looking good.
