I see by todays LVA Home info that the locals exemption for parking has ended. Locals casinos should benefit greatly and I predict that the strip casinos will rue this asinine decision. Stupid is as stupid does.
MGM has not announced they will be charging. They originally said locals park free through December but have not announced any plans for charging locals, as of now. The announcement could come anytime but it hasn't. Caesars plans are even more vague.
That's interesting, as I was down there yesterday and told no announcement would be forthcoming. They are pushing the MGM credit card ,big time. The RJ is owned by Adelson, a big competitor. Did anyone get the email? As a local, I'd think I would be targeted
Ok, just for billryan- slightly right of center above the free for all forum messages is a box that says "LVA Home"- Click on that box and the next screen will show" Today's News". Read the highlighted entries til you get to the one saying "Locals Parking Exemption Ending". If you are still having trouble, I suggest you get assistance.
I stand corrected. When I read your original post, I went to the home page and thought you were referring to the QOD, which also deals with parking. I was mistaken.
