LOL My Obamacare Premium is going up 50% in 2016

I am so happy that I turned 65 this month and don't have to worry Obama Care. My costs have dropped by at least 50% and I get much better care. I also get to go back to my favorite doctor now that I am no longer "dropped".
PJ and friends promised us that @orchid could keep his doctor. What happened?

Realization is settling in now that the bill is due - how does it feel to know that you have been duped by that liar Obeyme? I also note that P.J. is the ONLY one of the ultra idiotic liberals to reply, and he is back peddling from his numerous pro- Obeymecare mouthings . For he and the others who think they are so smart - God, you are stupid.

PJ's picks and chooses Obamacare statistics, while it's quite apparent that we're left with what everyone knew would happen...............a terribly expensive program which deliveres half of what was promised. ISIS has the same patience of the the American Liberal..................lie, delay, lie, delay, then implement. I agree that this strategy works against America, but such policy will leave America in shambles.
I was going to say something regarding the Kaiser foundation being thrown at some point, Forky's on the ball!

I have to say, I was kinda PO'd when I was required to get on Medicare at 47 when I had great insurance as it was. We never got a bill, only statements of what they paid (A LOT!), then Medicare came along and it became a nightmare at first. There's an entire different dept. for end stage renal care patients that we never even found out about for almost a year, gubment workers at there finest.

Things have gotten much smother now that we now, well my wife knows anyway, and with secondary ins. I don't have too many issues. I have to say Medicare turned out OK, but I don't like being on the Govt. dole. Ah well, no choice in the matter.

I do feel sorry for all those having to trudge through all the Obamacare BS, huge premiums to match the high deductibles. I can see why people are going to be dropping out, they're gonna have to eat the 700 dollar fine, er, tax, um whatever the hell it is.

Were your select statistics with the those keeping their doctor as promised? I'll expect a dodge.

To answer a few of the questions and address a few of the comments.

1. The letter came from the insurance carrier Anthem. They said I would get another letter from the Marketplace outlining my options. Lol

2. The precise amount of the increase is 49.8%. Last year it went up 20%

3. The insurance carrier says the new premium assumes everything is the same as it was the year prior including income, the number of people on the policy and so on.

4. The only option in my market place the prior two years has been various polices from Anthem, so I can change my deductible, co-insurance and opt for out of state coverage, but all choices are provided though Anthem Blue Cross.

5. I haven’t changed my opinion. Early on, I said I thought at best Obamacare only postponed the inevitable as nothing was done to address the escalating treatment costs including prescription drugs. Now that the risk corridor money is gone, I think the inevitable is closer than it has ever been.

6. If no changes are made to Obamacare, it will eventually death spiral. I suspect we are in the start of that now. I will be very curious to see what the actual enrollment numbers are for 2016. I am expecting to see a decrease. HHS says they are only expecting enrollments to grow by 900,000.

I need reconstructive surgery on my ankle. I was going to try and put it off as long as possible, but I now intend to have it done before 2015 ends. I figure I might as well hit them for the 50k or so it is going to take on the way out the door as a parting gift.
After reading Jatki's post, it made me wonder why Forkies post didn't include deductible data along with his post. I noticed that he also choose an extremely narrow slice of reality to prove his point, instead of a broad example which would apply to all folks involved with Obamacare.

Why might that be, other than to mislead about a total clusterfuck?
