Looks like work at the former Lady Luck is going on

Here is the link:

Something happening at the downtown Grand
Thanks for the link.Nice to see something happening at that site.I wish they would have kept the original name.I hate to see the old standards like the Lady Luck and the Stardust bite the dust.
I too would like to see the Lady Luck name stay.
A host named "Barbara" at the Lady Luck was the first to contact me out of the blue with a fully comped invite. Made me feel like I had "made it" in the business world more than any other accolade.
Here's the straight skinny: Fifth Street Gaming

Opening sometime in 2013, . . . maybe.

Fifth Street Gaming looks to be an interesting little Las Vegas conglomerate, comprising restaurants, niche eateries, gaming bars, . . . and the imminent "Downtown Grand". DonDiego is impressed by the moxie of opening a new hotel casino in the midst of a worldwide financial collapse. Bonne Chance !

DonDiego has many fond memories of the Lady Luck. The blackjack was great, . . . the mid-size tournaments were nifty, . . . the sports book was convenient, . . . and the free bus-ride from and to the airport was cool.

Thanks for the link Don Diego. Sounds interesting.
Makeover will likely have no resemblance to our lady of luck. Keep those fond memories in your hearts.
