Loose change counters?

Anyone know which casino or bank will take large bucket of loose coins?

South point and m used to, but think they quit. Both of my banks said they no long have coin counters, which I find very hard to believe, but they are sticking with that story. Charging people a percent for their own money is ridiculous.

I guess I can't wait to cash it in any longer. Err. Why people need to be difficult and greedy. no one wants to actually provide a service to customers anymore. Yes. Most likely when you hand me a few hundred bucks. I am going to spend some of it there. As for the banks, this is ridiculous. Wrote my uncle a check for fifty bucks and they charged him five bucks to cash it when drawn off of their own bank. You used to take it to the bank drawn off because that was the best guarantee for them that it would not bounce and I already paid them the service fee as the customer. Ugh.
If you have a B-connected loyalty card, The Orleans does convert your coins. I take my bag of coins every trip to the cashiers without any grief. I suspect that Gold Coast will do so as well. If you have a big quantity of coins, maybe you should make several trips to the cashier to complete the task. They have never charged me a fee for the transaction. I always rent a car when in Vegas, which has its advantages. Southpoint has installed coin conversion machines that assess a fee. I am too cheap to pay for it. After all, the slot machines take enough of our money.
There are Coinstar machines are all over Vegas, and they don't charge if you convert to a gift card. The cards available vary by location and you can figure it out at their website. I buy basically everything possible on Amazon, so for me it's a no-brainer.
I can't imagine lugging coins on a plane to cash them at a casino.

I know Flamingo will take loose change at the Cashier and give you full dollar amount.
El Cortez has a machine that gives you a ticket you bring to the Cashier - there was no sign that said you pay a commission so I presume its 100%

that is my method. I opt for a starbucks card and load the card to my sbux app on my phone and earn free drink rewards. I use the coinstar machine at the grocery store that is less than 5 minutes from my house. when I am in Vegas, if I start to accumulate a lot of loose change (like $2-$3) I take it to the cage and trade it for dollar bills, never had a problem.
Thanks guys. Knew I could count on you for the info. We only take in it every two years or so and then they have changed the rules by then. I think south point did it last time, but said it was no longer doing it. And it is usually the accumulated jug at home and it adds up. But I don't like to do it all the time. I will verify before I take it in and give an update.
Just called to verify and the Orleans will take up to $100 with your players card. And flamingo said any amount with players card.
Bellagio has a machine.
Dump the coins in, a ticket prints, take ticket to cashier.
No fee.

Not sure how big a "bucket" it would take at one time.
We used to have a water cooler jug. About 3/4 was $1100, this was many years ago. We now have this large glass jar. Maybe 3 gallon. No clue really. We let it get just over half maybe and I think it is around $200. No clue really. Lol. It is just something that sits there and we make change from it and add found change around the house and empty pockets, the car and my purse when too full. It is more laziness than anything. My husband has to carry it. It is very heavy.

When my brothers were teens they would rob it of all the quarters after they were told they could get "milk money" from it. Lol. Gee, we sure were out of milk a lot in those days.
