Lots of intrigue surrounding the sale of the Las Vegas Review Journal

It sold above market value, the buyer wishes to remain anonymous and the shell company that owns it that can’t be traced back to the owners. Current speculation is that Sheldon Adelson is the real owner.

The Koch Brothers have denied they are the new owners.

The Adelson spokespersons are not speaking.

Maybe the new owners will bring back the good coupons

I guess when flowery stories about Macro Rubio and Benjamin Netanyahu begin appearing in the Review Journal we will know for sure.

Reports are confirming Sheldon Adelson is the new owner although not directly....its like some kind of S corporation or something that is bankrolled by him. Details are still emerging and information is not official.

Adelson is an ass. LVRJ lost all credibility with the Righthaven fiasco. They kinda deserve each other.

Apparently the Democrats are becoming unsettled of the possibility that not all of the news outlets in America aren't Liberal.

The The New York Times reports "Sheldon Adelson, the billionaire casino magnate and Republican donor, and his family have formally owned The Las Vegas Review-Journal for a week."

And CNN reports "Mike Hengel, the top editor of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, is stepping aside, less than two weeks after the family of casino mogul Sheldon Adelson took control of the newspaper."

Nonetheless, life goes on.
