Oh I agree COMPLETELY, especially if that "are like me" is based on culture, geography, religion, shared experience, language, idioms, and so on.
But treegirl specified "race" only, and you backed her play. That's racial prejudice.
I didn't "back her play". I pointed out you were a bully after your dozen attack posts against her. I have a feeling that it would not have made any difference to you if tg had added any other commonality involved in free association.

And when blacks get racist, two scary black guys stand outside of one precinct. and become a semi-permanent video loop on Fox "News." When white people get racist, black precincts get fewer early voting hours than white ones. When blacks get racist, they sing nasty songs. When whites get racist, police engage in racial profiling. When blacks get racist, they call you honky. When whites get racist, they spend thousands less on children in predominately black public schools.
I get it. You think racism is okay if black people are the racists. When I wrote about early voting, it wasn't about poling hours on general election day. It was about being able to vote days before the general election. In some places, that was in effect before the final debate. Washington DC spends over $18,000/student in the public school system. Utah spends about $6,000/student in the public school system. DC is about 50% black. Utah is about 85% white.

Because of the imbalance in power, the effects of black racism are trivial, while the effects of white racism are pervasive. If you really believed in "We the people" instead of just people who "are like me," you'd actually give a damn about it. Happy 4th.
