Lunch, NOT buffet, downtown

Ok so what's your favorite lunch stop downtown, NOT buffet. Take out 777 at MSS. Anybody with good sandwiches, burgers, etc.?
Eat has great sandwiches. Le Thai is always a tasty option also.
The new diner at El Cortez is pretty good - Siegels. Lots of 1950's style fountain drinks and good sandwiches.
Carson Kitchen. 4 star meal at a reasonable price.

Where is Carson Kitchen?

I have been wanting to try carson kitchen. the places I go when I don't have a coupon or comp; nacho daddy, hash house a go go, the café at the Cal, pizza rock. if you are not too proud to use a coupon, I think it is the best way to try out some new slop.
and may I suggest what not to eat downtown. the coney place at the D, the pizza joint on Fremont. save your money.
El Cortez and Magnolias at Four Queens have been the only places Ive eaten in years. Recommend both.

Last time I stayed downtown I saw Jackie at The Flame.

The filet was tasty but the potato was a mutant, you could of fed a family of four with that spud.
