LV Hilton - What's up?

Sounds good to me! I wrote this on another thread, but I'll repeat it here.

I got an offer from the Hilton after giving them some dollar action in the sports book while I waited for my "proxy" to show up. It amazed me how high the jackpots were on the dollar machines. Before I met my son and proxy in the sports book, I spotted a row of machines that had the royal jackpot over $6300 or so. Well I cashed out there and met my son. His GF was playing a row of sit down dollar machines that paid over $6700, and better yet, like the Silverton, they had a back up jackpot that would pay over $5700 if the main jackpot was hit. Anyway, I started playing those machines with her and I noticed she didn't have a cad inserted. I had just joined the "new" players club, and I always ask for two cards as Faye usually would be playing with me. Si I gave the card to her and we played side by side, racking up the points. Anyway, they just sent me a postcard offer for 3 nights comped, as well as two ticket and transportation to the Thomas and Mack arena to see the NFR. They also threw in two tickets to see Dwight Yokum, as well as Jack Daniels and Boot Barn specials, a custom jewelry giveaway, Coca Cola photo booth, a tee shirt giveaway, as well as a Jackpot Bonus and Prize Cube promotion.

If you have one of their players cards, and since I won't be there, call 800-457-3307 ask representative for NFR 2011. better than paying $139 a night. If it fits into your schedule give it a try. Tell them BAGIANT sent you!

by the way, sharelene is back in town. I put her up at the Motel 6 in Oceanside. Just can't get rid of that girl. But I really don't mind!
It wasn't $139 a night, it was for 3-4 nights.

I was told that since I am also a HHonors Gold member, this year I get upgraded to a 'Grand' room for free, as well as get free internet and breakfast.

So the deal I am getting is a great one in my opinion.
Those sound like awesome perks. But from the original reply, it sounds like you should pack a towel and buy some Lysol. I'm HHonors and I haven't received anything similar.

I would still recommend a plan B. I'm a CFO by trade, and I've learned that incompetent financial management is common. You can't be completely sure the room will be there when you get there. You should be able to find a reasonable price with a reasonable cancellation policy if you search. The Gold Coast is another idea. I hope you didn't buy a non-cancelable airline ticket.

Bag man, no one really cares about you and Sharlene and who's finger went where. They're all just toying with you, wondering just how sick you really are.
I think the brothel-hotel idea is excellent! More tax revenue, healthier ho's and would hopefully clean up the streets

Social responsibility for Johns, awesome. There could also be a little 1/2 hour class for the clients, teaching them proper etiquette.
ill be at the hilton for christmas. four nights comped, $50 free play and three free buffets.
