Haven't been here for a while, but I can see the LVA staff has pretty much given up on keeping the FFA Las Vegas Oriented. It seems to have turned into a chat room mostly for any subject other than anything to do with Las Vegas or gambling.
That being said I had found joining the paid side was a waste of time due to the generally negative core group that frequented the board. More than just a few bad apples with bad attitudes.
Have they died off yet? I hope so.
The coupon book use to be a great value until so many abuses. I could speculate on how a specific group of locals got a hold of the cash of unsold books and proceeded to go on repeated coupon runs until the casinos finally said "Enough is enough" and put a screeching halt to the match plays in the then pocketbook of values.
I even noticed in the latest travel channel special AC wasn't even allowed to plug the LVA, they just mentioned he was a publisher and former card counter. (2012 release).
Jean Scott was still plugging her couponomy, and Bob Dancer gave his spiel on how he and his wife won so much money, and of course, buy my software!
Vegas revealed or how to beat the casino, whatever.
Whatever gets the hits, right boys? Those little fractions of a centavo add up over the years. Thank you Google!
Time to get a real job?
Oh well, it had it's uses. But ya don't know what ya got till it's gone.
I will say, Thank you for the good old days, It brought us a lot of useful information and was well worth it. Thanks for ruining it for everyone you dumb heads, and you know who you are.
