LVA Nascar Fantasy League (2011)

I would pick him up as an alternate, (Bayne). The kid kinda reminds me of Jimmy, his first year. Man, I made some serious points off that guy.

If freaking Robbie would have stayed off the damn track and stuck to the apron, that accident would have never happened.

I tried to get on ESPN this morning to make sure they were all in the race, but I had difficulties and "gave up" since I could not find a list of starters. (My connection really sucked big time this morning)

Were all my horses even racing? It is very possible some were not. :::shrug:::

I picked my team when I signed up, did not make any changes, and got confused when I saw that bumper to bumper stuff the other night, tailgating or whatever it's called. Seems that would change the dynamics of racing quite a bit.

I only joined this league because I thought it might get me a little more interested in the sport. So far, it has a little, because I did watch part of two races the past week or so. More than all of last year.

I would have picked #21 as my "alternate", but like I mentioned, did not find the list to verify. Next time I'll use the Nascar site.

The next race is next week. They will be running about once a week until easter or so.

Well, I picked up where I left off last year, sittin 3rd from last in the standings.

Well...the first race of the Nascar Season has come and gone.

All I have to say is "Wow...what a hell of a race!!"

No Dale junior drama...no Jimmie fuckin Johnson, domination....no super teams like Hendricks, Childress, or Gibbs taking all the glory.

This race was all about the Wood Brothers...the oldest operating team in Nascar, with the youngest driver ever to win the Daytona 500, Trevor Bayne! What a great story!!

2nd worst was JazzBro with a horrible score of 94

The worst score was Roadtrip with a shitty score of 77 (Ouch)
