LVA Nascar Fantasy League 2013 (Segment #1)

Sorry, that I am late with these results, and I also missed last weeks update! You can't blame me though...I was at the track for the Vegas race and it was AWESOME!!

There was a fatal wreck on the 15 South shortly before the race was over, and that caused MAJOR headaches for people trying to get back home, or to the strip from the race. It took a couple hours just to get out of the track parking lot, and another 3-4 hours to get the free way moving.

Besides that, and the rain out on Friday for Qualifying and practice...it was a GREAT WEEKEND! I have lots of pics, which I will share in another thread, if I get time to write it all up!

For now, its on to business.

The 4th race of the season, at Bristol, is now in the books, and we only have 6 more races to go, before we crown a Segment #1 winner! Yeee hawww!

Congrats to NavyMom for keeping a FIRM grip on that top spot!

Now for the week #2 results!

Top three scores of the week were:

1st place M&M Rules with an awesome score of 204 (Impressive!)

2nd place was Gas and Go1 with a great score of 179

3rd place was TizTheWhiz with a good score of 175


The worst three scores of the week were:

3rd worst was BobOrme with a bad score of 146

2nd worst was JR-Lover with a horrible score of 113

Absolute worst was Blade with a shitty score of 107 (Ouch!)


Next race is at Fontana, California! It looks to be another great race!

Thanks, Rizzo! I just hope I can hold on for the next few weeks! Don't forget to check your lineups everyone, so you don't miss a driver that isn't actually racing.

I think I'm going to start my own NASCAR sportsbook. Opening odds...

At least one driver will turn right at any point during a race +$1,000,000
All drivers will turn left at least 4 times per minute...OFF THE BOARD
Two or more rednecks will get into a fistfight within 5 minutes after the race...-$10,000,000

Just a little FYI for those folks that have (or may have in the future) Denny Hamlin.

Denny has a very serious injury. Compression fracture of the L1 vertebrae, lower back. Probably won't know till later in the week, but good chance he will miss some races as he recuperates.

If he is out, Coach Gibbs will probably put Elliott Sadler in that car.
