Lva stock car challenge

Frankie rizzo, just wondering if you are running the fantasy league again.

has anybody heard about it, I haven't seen or heard anything as of yet.

With Daytona this Sunday, if it's going on, I'd like to get in on it.

Sorry man....I would have loved to run the league again, but ESPN is not doing a Fantasy League this year. Don't ask me why they aren't...they just aren't!

I've been waiting for them to open sign ups, but they just haven't, and don't plan on opening!

Some say, it was sour grapes towards Nascar, because of the TV deal that ESPN lost out on, others say its because of the new "Nascar points structure" for this year, and that maybe they will have it again next year, one they've got it figured out!? Who knows!?

I looked into Nascar.com, and Yahoo.com Fantasy league, and neither one really compares to ESPN, as far as our LVA contest goes....anything that would be so much different then ESPN would be unfair to us, and very hard to try and figure out the segments, points, and pay offs.

Yahoo's does segments, but no salary cap.....Nascar.com does salary cap, but no segments.

With the first race already coming up this weekend, I didn't think it was fair to throw a new league format, with such short notice

I decided to just skip it all together this year, and hope that next year ESPN will bring their Nascar fantasy back.

What a race that was! I love the Daytona 500!! WOOOO HOOOO!!

I didn't care too much for the delay, but once the race got started and was down to the last 40-50 laps, it was AWESOME!!
