LVAshow "deals"

i was checking out the shows under shows and nightlife and found out its kinda worthless. Showed some cheap prices but when went buy the tix, it was outrageous. 400 bucks for love? WTH? Fou d other tix just as bad. The supposed "codes" were nonexistenct.
we're gonna have to find others places to get tix. LOVE is the only show we really want to see. Do those ever come up at tix 4tonight(whatever the name of that place is at the hawaiin mkt place is)?

I did find tix fo jersey boys kinda cheap, like 80 bucks,is that worth it? We like so e oldies music, but dont want to be in a theater with a bunch geezers on scooters or anything...uh..HEY!,never mind that.

Any advice, opinions appreciated. Thanks.

LOVE does come up on the Tix 4 Tonight. A lot of it depends on what night of the week and what else is going on in town. You can get an idea of what shows they have available by checking out their website and clicing on the "sneak peek" tab.

We saw Jersey Boys last March - it is definitely worth seeing, and $80/per ticket is a good price.
Jersey Boys is really good. Is it worth $80? That is something only you can answer.
Not so sure about "worthless" or "nonexistant codes". When I clicked through I found great seats for Love at about $115-140 per seat through last few days of Sept. But it does take a bit of care as to what you click.

Click on the "Show Discounts & specials" tab on LVA, then on top left of the following page where it says "Best Las Vegas Show Discounts we could find:" click on the line with "From $87 - LOVE - 40% off". That hyperlink takes you to three offers for Love deals. I chose the 1st one that said "Up to 20% off + show/dinner packages".

That takes you to the Mirage site - on the far right side of screen where one of the links says "Special Offers" - choose that. Click the Love logo that comes up, then click the "20% off performances - Book Now" link. Click Find Tickets for the Date & Show time you want. It comes up with an opportunity to pick your price level and under that is a box for Internet Discount 20% - make sure you fill that in with the number of tix you want. Price depends on which show/which day you choose. I never did see $87 for any of the Sept dates, though. It does take a little effort, but it's worth it to save $ off the $400 you saw.

Also, as with most Cirque shows, remember the best seats are not the most expensive seats! Seats about halfway up give you a better view of all the action than those in the front rows.

Just my two cents .....................

"LOVE" was no big deal, ..................... but "Jersery Boys" was EXCELLENT.

Also another good show for the money is "Donny and Marie".

John:

I second Rock'n Rick's choice of Donny and Marie. Great Show.

Another great show is: Human Nature at Imperial Palace. I saw them in Vegas and

also went to see them a second time at Fallsview Casino last February in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
