M buffet question

I have read many positive reviews about the M buffet and would be interested in trying it on a Tueday night during my visit in August.
When I tried to eat there last year the line was very long. Has anyone that has been there lately tell me if it is still as popular as it was a year ago? Would you recommend arriving at 3:30 and standing in line to await the opening of the dinner buffet at 4pm or is arriving at 8pm a better idea?
If it's not as popular as last year, that might be an indication to not go! Seriously, there are a couple of things you might do. First, try to get a line pass. If you're going to play before you eat, see if a pit boss will give you a line pass if playing table games. Just don't play with the line pass as your sole purpose, as it might cost you far more than it's worth. I've never gotten one (or even asked) when playing machines but it couldn't hurt. If you see a slot host walking around signing players up, wave her down and see if she can give you a pass. The worst she can say is no. Same goes if you are signing up for a new card. Ask the boothling. I gaurantee they won't shoot you or slit you're throat (the M isn't in North LV). Again the worst they can say is no.

Good Luck!

It is still one of the better buffets & we enjoy playing there.

The wife and I both play 25c vp at about the same volume. We go there once a year. In 2011 I got the offers, this year she is getting them.

Go figure
I usually go for lunch on a weekday. I've done it each of the last 3 years and never waited more than 15 minutes in line.

My thoughts: Their buffet is both big and good...but more big than good. I dont know how many items they have to choose from but its gotta be near 100. Free wine (I recommend the blush) and hand scooped ice cream cones for dessert are nice touches.

I would go about 5:15. On weekdays the line seems to grow after 5:30. There sometimes is a longer line at 330 with those who are panicking that there will be a long line than there is at 5:30
M resort 50 plus day is Tuesday, go on a different day and the lines will be shorter.
lunch buffet was great.

Seniors day is no longer a big factor for dinner, as the seniors day benefits are only for breakfast and lunch buffet discounts, not for dinner, which is a change from a few months ago.
What is the current Tues. Senior Day deal for the buffet?

Could be people looking to pay lunch price and stay for dinner.
