Macho Man Randy Savage RiP

Randy "Macho Man" Savage passed away on 20 May 2011 from a car accident. He was 58 years old.

Bye Macho Man, give Miss Elisabeth a hug for me.
I was at a hotel near SF airport over 20 years ago for a seminar. There was Randy Savage dressed in much of his gear at a pay phone talking away near the elevators in the lobby. He didn't talk at all the way he talked in wrestling. I didn't have the courage to ask for an autograph.
A buddy of mine works at olive garden down in FLA and he said macho man frequented there. I guess somewhat of a regular(with his mom on occasion). He said he was just in there a few weeks ago.He was always a real nice guy and my freind said he would talk pretty openly(he's A big time rasslin' fan).
Anyway RIP Macho Man, he was one of the great wrasslers of all time.

Leaping Lanny Poffo is Randy's brother.
He was a great wrestler, entertainer and interview. May he RIP.
Savage was definitely an innovator in the business. He was flying all over the place before it became the norm.

Also remember he had a match when he piledrove Ricky Morton through a table, which was a surreal spot in the early 80's. Yes, I know it's pre-determind (notice I didn't say fake), but it was pretty crazy stuff for that time.

Kinda sad he got bitter towards the end of his life against McMahon and Hogan as he felt they screwed him out of some money, and he blamed Hogan for the end of his marriage to Elizabeth.

Still, I understand he was a great guy and it's a shame yet another wrestler dies a bit too young.
