Magic City starts Tonight~!

I don't know if you like this series or not, but it's one of those made for cable shows that's on Starz. I just renewed my subscription to HBO and Starz for an unbelievable price of $5.27 for both for 12 months.

If you like a good story and sexy bodies...this show is for you. Takes place in the 50's in Miami at a hotel like the Fountainbleau. Lots of T and A and there sure are pretty ladies. The bad guys wife is fooling around with the hotel owners son, but he's a voyeur and likes to watch her have sex. Has mirrors installed in the bedroom so he can watch her from a room above the bedroom. Really gets kinky at times~!
Great show. Unfortunately I'm a half hour late on recording on my Tivo.
Just saw the first half hour. It would have been interesting to have been an adult who had the money to afford hotels like that in the 50's. I realize technology would have been elementary back then, but things like dressing, food, and drinking would have been very similar to today. The big difference would have been that almost everybody smoked, whereas almost nobody smokes today. Of course there were no breast implants back then and grooming habits (if you know what I mean) were different back then.

I enjoy this show very much, even though it occasionally seems stuck in second gear. Magic City also gets my vote for best opening title sequence in recent memory.
And with James Caan coming on board and Alex Rocco already there, I'm just waiting for Abe Vigoda.

I'll tell you one thing...Diamonds wife fooling around with the bartender sure shows a lot of T+A, and she has a lot of both!
I can't believe the season finale was last night (only 8 episodes for the season). To make matters worse, I read that Starz did not renew the show for a third season. I would love if one of the other movie channels would pick this show up. It was great. I really enjoyed James Caan this season.
I can't believe that they aren't picking up this show for a third season. It's my favorite show!
I enjoy the show.Danny Huston is fantastic but Jeffrey Morgan isn't strong enough of an actor to carry a show. He doesn't have a drop of range. The show is very expensive to produce and the ratings are too low. I'm surprised they picked up season two.
Is it really confirmed that they didn't pick up the third season?
Unfortunately as of right now it is cancelled. I will continue to look on line to see if there is any grass root effort for Starz to renew it.
