That's the dems and O's plan to save obamacare? Are they serious? I don't think there's a soul in this country, especially those on obamacare that think it's working as promised. Hell, forget about as promised, how about working at all? Ins. co.'s pulling out, rates spiraling out of control along with deductibles, it'sd on its' death bed now. "make America sick again", that's it, that's the plan??

I saw Joe Manchin and he seems the only level headed one on either side. He didn't attend the dems little caucus party but instead met with Pence to try and get on the same page, at least a non partisan start. Good man, my family has known him and his dad for years.

Manchin was very clear today saying the Republicans plan to repeal Obamacare withou a replacement is insane and not something he would help them with. And he was also very clear today that 170k people from his state are currently benefitting from the law you say isn't working.

Democrats will and should make the public completely aware that Republicans are sending us back to the stone age on healthcare....and their big replacement plan the've been referencing for the last 6 years is nothing but a flat out lie.

Yes the premiums are too high. I would rather have it then not though.
I have benifited from it. I get mine through our exchange but get no subsidy

Boiler argued all along that Liberals didn't care how much Obamacare cost, just as long as they got Obamacare. PJ and others claimed that Obamacare was going to save each family thousands of dollars. Boiler argued that this would not happen.

PJ is the perfect example of not caring how much it would cost, and a perfect example of telling us that it would save all of us money.

Premiums have not gone down under Obamacare - but they have slowed their inflation rate. SO take that for what its worth. I wont defend it. If you're argument is pre-2009 healthcare was cheaper then I'm happy to point and laugh.

Fact - 10 million people on the expanded Medicaid went from paying 100% of their medical bills out of pocket to having that program do it. SO yes - they've saved money...and received better healthcare.

Fact - every senior citizen that buys prescription drugs has seen their bills drop by $2k a year and counting thanks to the donut hole closing. SO yes, they've saved money.

Fact - every uninsured, able-paying person with a pre existing condition went from paying 100% out of pocket to now paying for an insurance plan. So yes, they've saved money

And taxpayers save 10 billion a year in Medicare fraud recovery. And the deficit is reduced by an estimated 325 billion over 10 years. And this is true even after 6 years of Boilerman promising the program would blow up the deficit. So in addition to saving taxpayers money - it also foils yet another of 100 Boilerman's predictions.

And Boilerman's brother in law gets subsidized healthcare despite having a ton of money....or something. SO he's saving money too. What was that story again?

Tax subsidies are based on income, not wealth. Lots of wealthy and semi-wealthy people got them.
I was eligible and absolutely took them.

When cliff clavin isn't insulting people he reminds us how wealthy he is.
