Back to the actual topic...There should be a real national debate on Healthcare and Health Insurance. All options need to be on the table including fixing the ACA, moving to Single Payer and free market plans. There was NEVER A REAL NATIONAL DEBATE on the ACA and the alternatives. Hopefully some kind of real consensus could come out of that process. Maybe that could get the politicians working together on it. Oh I have little hope of the bi-partisan dream and national debate I mentioned happening. The Republicans will likely push through their plan with no support from democrats. With all its faults, that was the biggest problem with the ACA. The Republicans had no skin in the game and could simply obstruct and complain rather than fix the problems. I don't doubt the Democrats and Republicans will behave the same with reversed roles.
