Malfunctions/How ro avoid them?/5c and penny

I have another thread running about VPand "malfunctions" are coming up alot . Let us leave the VP malfunctions in that thread .
Lets talk about playing nickel and penny slots for a sec. If you get a bonus per say of 3000 credits won do you wait for the credits to run through and listen to all the bell ringing or do you just push the play and the machine stops the bells and credits your machine.

Most times I don't wait because it annoys me listening to the machine and it grab attention from other people. Yes I do fear that sometimes I might screw things up and not get paid the full amount of my winning bonus by doing this.
I know this thread is supposed to be about slots, not VP, but I don't see why it would make a difference which kind of machine you're playing. I only play VP, and always hit the button to stop the sound of the score adding up. I don't like calling attention to the fact that I have a large number of credits. I don't worry about malfunctions.
I do a little dance in my chair while the credits bing.
Dance a jig and wait for papa to pay your credits. You get ancy and start pushing it, bad things will happen and its only your fault. So tell your 1's and zero's to get their act together.

00000000 00000000 00000000 00101010, hey! I answered it. All without making one hell of a computer.....

Sue ,you are right . I guess I never win enough on VP/Keno to have this problem. I think the Game King machines are quicker tabulating your wins and I don't find them so annoying like some of the 5c and penny machines.

The thought of a malfunction never crossed our minds. However, we usually wait for the "ding, ding, ding, ding, ding...) to come to an end rather than hitting the button to stop it. It's part of the mind-numbing fun of slots - especially when trying to figure how much the hit was for. Then when the ding-ing stops, we get to see how close we were on our calculation. It's always nice when the win is for much more that you think - but then the calculations can be thrown off by the level of intoxication.

This is how annoying it is to me . Like I said it draws a crowd . Most times I have an idea how much I won . Yet there were a few times I didn't and I was shocked. If a machine wants to keep on giving me money I'll take without all the noise please. I must be getting old. LOL

Thanks for your reply.

I thought the noise was only annoying if it is someone else's dinging. My own dinging never annoys me.
My wife hit a whopper playing 2 cents 5credits 9 lines once (5 reel triple diamond)..took 20 minutes of dinging to pay out. ... I was waiting for it to end,,stuck $5 in the machine next to hers and promplty picked up $80 playing same credits/lines. All while hers was still paying out.
Since I do not seem to win that often, I like to hear the machine celebrate for me when I do hit something. I have stopped it in the past, but that always seem to take the fun out of it. It also makes my money last a little longer if I allow the machine finishing dinging.
