Malfunctions/How ro avoid them?/5c and penny

I 100% agree with everything Snidely said.

I only hope for more dinging.
Man , The consensus is everybody loves to hear the dinging . It is a sign of winning . I love to win but the dinging drives me crazy.
The funny thing is I am hard of hearing , sometimes I wonder if all the noise is too much for me or is the fact I am old.(58).
When I hear somebody elses machine dinging I always look over and hope they hit the big one.

Enjoy the dinging everybody . I wish the whole damn casino would ding at once .LOL

I like the medium volume machines. I wish there was a volume control. Some machines whisper and some are just too loud.
There is a volume control, but only the slot attendants can get to it. They have to open the machine. I don't think the casinos want the volume turned down, lol.

On the few occasions where I've decided to sit and play for an unknown "longer" session, I have often requested the slot attendant to reduce the volume, and they have willingly done so. I've also asked them to reduce the volume on a neighboring machine (once vacant and loud) and never been "denied".

The casino may "want" the volume loud, but they want a body at the machine much more.

:::shrug:::

Most of the new machines have volume control that you can set yourself. I think after a while it resets to loud but I ALWAYS adjust the volume cause the noise drives me nuts. I also don't like waiting for the ding ding to end and just push the button.
Finally someone else that doesn't like the dinging and pushes the button.
Siwst852 Do you ever get nervous about the machine screwing up and not getting all your credits.

No why should it? If you win 2000 credits it shouldn't make any difference if it racks up fast or slow. I am sure the casino wants you to get all your credits quickly. The faster they add up on the machine the faster you can play your next money LOL.

Ok I'll go along with that. This is what started this thread . Malfunctions. I usually know what I won before I push the play to ignore all the dinging.
