@clcjim, are you a golfer? Just curious since I come to Houston each Fall for a Texans game and three rounds of golf. Boiler appreciates Texas removing undesirables from the herd. I'm guessing that there's still more work to do with this group, however.

This sounds more like a premeditated murder where they stole his car too rather than a carjacking where the victim was shot.

Why did they let her live? What does "You need to come clean" mean?

I can see that he is quite tatted up. Many of those kind of businesses are directly or indirectly owned by organized crime.

WTF are you talking about!? " There's more to do with this group". That's the dumbest thing (well not the dumbest) I've ever heard. Dude gets shot and killed for 4K, and that's culling the herd? Guy looks OK to me, hell, he got laid on a ferris wheel, HIGH fuckin' FIVE and kudos on that account.

Maybe there is more to the story, but it sure looks like some guys he knew jacked him up for some cash.

I'm happy they only threw the girlfriend out of the car and didn't harm her, but I can't figure out why they would kill him in front of her and then do nothing to her.

I know. I thought about it and can only conclude they weren't very bright. Perhaps counting on her to be too scared to snitch?
