Man Dies in Fall at Cosmopolitan
As normal very few details; have a feeling alcohol might have been involved
Isn't that the second death from someone falling at the Cosmo?

It is nice they have the balconies, but they are just asking for something like this. Of course they will probably be sued.

The first one the guy fell of the side by the nightclub (If I remember correctly). He was up there for a few hours and got too tired to get back up.

It's sad...

I know Blade, but still sad.

If one were to fall from these balconies, it's not a "slip and fall" incident...it's clearly intentional; at least from the high up rooms that I've been in.

Dan

What was Darwin's law again?

The first one the guy was standing on a ledge.

You cannot fall from those balconies the way they are designed.

One would have to climb over it, or be thrown.
A few years ago someone jumped at Resorts A/C while we were there. Never heard anything official about it. We were at check-out and another guest was running their mouth about it and all the details they had seen... the lady at the desk said they could not comment on anything.

Chances are he was showing off and fell.
We have all been there when someone pulls off a stunt and doesn't get hurt, which makes it "cool" to some.
When they go wrong, it's an unfortunate accident.
