DonDiego found this story in The Atlantic magazine, The Man Who Broke Atlantic City, very interesting and informative.
It should be interesting to most casual gamblers and especially to blackjack players.
The basis of the piece is that a gentleman from Philadelphia recently won $5-million at The Borgata, $4-million at Caesars, and $5.8-million at The Tropicana playing blackjack, . . . but some of the details is what makes it so interesting.
Like that business on the Jersey Shore is so bad that the aforementioned casinos took a chance just to attract a high roller to the table, and lost.
And that Pennsylvania is likely to overtake New Jersey as the second-largest gaming State in the nation.
DonDiego opines a few statements/conclusions may be erroneous, but there's no real harm done.
Oh, . . . and DonDiego supposes the author doesn't play blackjack, because there are a few errors in describing the precise details of some of the hands, but not so bad one cannot puzzle-out the accurate meaning.
DonDiego says: "Enjoy!"
