Was offered a room out of the blue from Mandalay Bay which we had only been to once in the last few years. Checked out some reviews and many people seemed quite unhapy with all the renovations and said the place had thin walls.. Said lots of noise from the strip, the construction and a club up stairs. Also several complaints about too many kids and unfriendly staff.

Has anyone run into any of this sort of thing in the last couple of months and does anyone have any idea of the length of the renovations. THE HOTEL is going to be the DELANO. I am wondering if we got offers because they had offended so many of their regular customers that they had an empty hotel.
