Manny - Marquez , business as usual

Once again we see that the really big money has bought a championship. I personally don't bet boxing, NFL or the NBA. All of those so-called sports are fixed. I just wonder if and when the betting public will ever get tired of getting robbed and quit betting on the outcome of these "sporting events". I am still amazed at just how stupid people really are.
It must be hard being the smartest man on the planet, especially when everyone else is too stupid to recognize it.
One can only imagine the difficulties you encounter on a daily basis.
As long as I know I have you around to keep me grounded I find a way to make it through my day.
We are forced to accept the results but one thing is clear-- Manny has fought Marquez 3 times and still doesn't have 1 unanimous win. I think the ESPN expert is right - Mayweather is now the best pound for pound fighter in the world, Manny just lost that title. What a lackluster performance by Manny.

I seriously don't understand where you're coming from. I can see a fixed fight but NFL and NBA? Also, why just these sports and not baseball?

I've had my share of bad beats/calls but never felt like the game is rigged.

If an astute bettor knows all NFL games are fixed that adds one level to the complexity of NFL betting and aids the astute bettor. If only half are fixed that adds another level and aids even more.

The NFL is rigged??? Cool! As a bettor how can I leverage this information?

Has one ever thought about what would be needed to fix an NFL game? First of all, the NFL rakes in over 9 billion dollars in revenues each year. Just imagine, how much would be lost if it was revealed that the games were rigged?

Next to assure that a game will go the way you would want it to, you would probably need to pay off the quarterback (usually the highest paid player on the team) and probably the head coach. Just remember, you can't have too many people in this conspiracy, because the old cliche "loose lips sink ships" couldn't be any more true.

Nah, they probably just pay off a ref to fix a game. On bad call could screw up a line but I don't think any NFL games have been fixed

That spectacular catch by Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald down to the 1-yard line to stun the Eagles yesterday? Choreographed by the NFL

In fact, I have heard the NFL office hires creative writers to pen the outcome of games.
