Mass Shooters

I suspect you are right, unless he was in a posted gun free zone.
Billy again proves my point, and I thank you.

One can't take a two block walk in Chicago while carrying a loaded weapon and not be in violation of the law. Walking past these places with a loaded weapon is against the law. Since these places are everywhere, a law abiding citizen can't carry a loaded weapon in Chicago.

Billy will next likely use the "who will know?" argument". No one will know if one is carrying a concealed weapon until that concealed weapon is used to shoot a punk. If the good guy shoots the bad guy, prosecutors will immediately find security footage to prove that they good guy was carrying illegally.

Thinking back, since I moved to Vegas almost two months ago, those restrictions would have prevented me from carrying for about twenty minutes when I went to DMV to register my new car and change my license.
How many days would those regulations prevented boils from carrying gun?

Professor James Pearce of Southern State Community College (SSCC) in Ohio has proposed a solution to "the gun problem":
********quote*****
Look, there’s only one solution. A bunch of us anti-gun types are going to have to arm ourselves, storm the NRA headquarters in Fairfax, VA, and make sure there are no survivors.
This action might also require coordinated hits at remote sites, like Washington lobbyists.
Then and only then will we see some legislative action on assault weapons.

The Professor is presently under investigation for these threats, by SSCC Security and local law enforcement, at least.

DonDiego would not be surprised if he is charged with a micro-aggression and given a time-out.

Either you can't read, or are a liar. I suspect it's the former but wouldn't be surprised if it were both.

Ditto.

Legal to carry does not automatically translate into legal to shoot. Even to shoot "a punk."

One who uses the legally-carried gun to shoot someone had better have a good attorney on retainer.

A lot of trouble not worth being "the hero", which I think has not yet been determined.

30 years ago my husband pulled his (legally carried) gun on a 'customer' attempting to steal a wrench or something off his tool truck. Thank God husband did not shoot.

The would-be thief was an employee of somebody's auto repair shop.
My husband would probably be in jail to this day if he had maimed or killed the "punk."

For one thing, would husband have been about to prove that his life was in danger? No. Just a petty theft. I think you can't kill a petty thief and not be held accountable.

The other potential outcome...the punk would have a gun and use it to kill my husband. Punk MIGHT go to jail and I'd have a dead husband.
I say MIGHT go to jail, because he could say HE was defending himself. Gunfight on a tool truck. Not good.

And how stupid, to risk everything over a stolen wrench. I wanted to kill him myself!
We had a shooting here a few weeks ago. A " Good Samaritan" in a parking lot saw a guy struggling with a security guard and shoot the guy in the back. He was arrested and I believe he's still in jail.
Boo hoo.
When my daughter was standing about 30 feet away from the guy at the Clackamas Town Center who started shooting in the food court, armed to the teeth, I'm glad there was a responsible concealed carry citizen who confronted him. He took of to the Macy's Home Store where he killed himself. Only 2 dead.
