Masterpiece Theater: Downton Abbey

Another absolutely fantastic Masterpiece Theater production. Ten times better than Upstairs/Downstairs.

Best news of all: a third series of episodes already in production, coming in September 2012!

I really enjoyed it. Soap opera-ish but so well done with great production values.

Loved the first season and I'm in the process of watching the second. Love it. My mum said she saw a show about the making of Downton and a season three is already in production. I hope she's right. Shes a bit batty.

I have watched both seasons - and the program on the filming. There have also been a few magazine articles around that I have read. Loved it all! I am sad my fun Downton Abbey Sunday evenings have come to an end.

I wasn't aware there was a season 3 in the making - I thought the stories were kind of wrapped up in the II season ending. Hope this is true though.
