Maybe a dumb question but........

We recently got passes for the Delta Airlines VIP lounge at the airport. Their website says that they have free soda, coffee, juice, water, beer and alcoholic beverages along with snacks, newspapers, magazines, etc. Do you tip the attendant (if there is one, and i assume there is)? Do you tip similar to the bartenders in vegas by the drink or is there something else i need to know. help!

I would tip just like a free drink in Vegas. If you have a few drinks and they bring you some sandwiches I'd throw them a few more dollars. I would tip the bartender/server, not the host or attendant.

We had the VIP Lounge pass for our last trip although I can't remember where the layover was. There really wasn't an attendant per se. A few people at the desk upon walking in to make sure you belong and then a few more milling around making sure all was good. The food and drinks were self-serve.

Never felt any inclination to tip anyone.
