It's cool. I was done with this months thought provoking discussion. Consider the thread open. And kudos to everyone for making it fun and informative. I have a copy of "The Compass of Pleasure" on order.

Next month I think I will tackle what constitutes "a trip". Don't comment on it now, I want to set it up for the maximum possible amount of confusion.

Frank's thread is about changing one's beliefs. My riddle is not a tangent, nor is it bizzare.

Riddle me this: Can you make a river less polluted by dumping polluted water into it?

I guess I should clarify what I meant. I do not intend my posts to CAUSE confusion. In fact, quite to opposite. I merely wish to stimulate discussion in a thought provoking way, which requires that the subject matter be somewhat nebulous and allow for the contribution of many different view points in an environment that supports widely different opinions without the necessity for people to refute each others beliefs in order to offer theirs.

The topics must also be somewhat in contention or else there would be no discussion at all.
