At $6.00 a beer. (in bottles) Draft ran about $3.00. (the cheap stuff)

I'm not sure that beer qualifies under "well drinks only" -- I read that as, "cheap vodka, rum, tequila, etc. only."

$105/night with the resort fee for a Sunday-Thursday, 2-night minimum. It's an interesting idea, but with the resort fee I don't think it's a steal unless someone has the desire to eat the same buffet over and over and get sloshed on cheap rum.

Generally, "well" applies to draft beer (typically Bud/coors/miller) and lite beer of the same, the house wine (cheap crap), and basic mixed drinks. (No high priced scotch, rum, vodaka, etc)

Kinda like just basic booze. It will still get you drunk, but cheaply

Well drinks is pretty much the same stuff they serve on the casino floor unless you believe you're getting JWB when you order it while sitting at the penny slot machine.
I thought they had to give you what you ordered. Isn't that the law?
It is most likely a law that they have to give you what you ordered when you're paying for a drink. The free drinks... I don't know about that. Sometimes the Crown Royal tastes a little "funny" to me. I wouldn't take any bets that the whisky coming out the gun they say is Crown Royal is really Crown Royal and not Seagram's Seven.
LVA now offers all of these promotions for MGM. https://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/deals/
Booze out of the gun always taste different than from the bottle.

I actually took a similar offer two years ago at the MGM Grand that did not have the free booze. I ate breakfast lunch and dinner at the buffet for 7 days.

Did it get old? Absolutely. However, food isn't THAT important. I can try the restaurants on another visit when the grub isn't free. It was just a place to fill my stomach.
