My local casino Dover Downs,De. and MGM are linking up together in marketing.
I was an MGM player for years then switched over to HET/CET out of boredom of staying at too many MGM props.
Eventually my offers dwindled down as I gave them less play.
I am an Elite (highest) player at DD and am curious to see what that will now do for me with MGM.

For west coast MGM players who get offers for DD should check them out, it is very nice and you could do a day trip to AC.

Wow - that's a long way to go for a for a just a day trip to AC from the west coast!
I'm thinking maybe a couple days at least!

Nothing on the east coast is that far apart. Delaware to AC seems like it would be a breeze.

I wasn't thinking about travel time from Dover Downs to AC. I was thinking more along the line that just a day trip to Atlantic City doesn't seem like very much time to spend there. Is there really so little there that a day trip would cover it? I've never been there myself, but always had the impression that there were several casinos. If I'm going to fly all the way from the westcoast to do a casino trip, I'd like to be sure it would be worth it. If we're only talking about a couple casinos (Dover Downs and whatever is in AC) I don't think that would be the case.

You're not missing anything in AC IMO. It's dirty and pretty seedy at best. All it is is a bunch of casinos that line the boardwalk on the ocean. No casino stands out in particular,definitely the "if you've seen one casino,you've seen them all"theory.
The boardwalk at night can really be sketchy. TRue story,I was walking along the boardwalk late one night after walking my mom and my GF back to the hotel we were staying at and while walking up the boardwalk i notice some bum standing over in the corner. I thought he was just taking a leak. Look agin and think for a millisecond, man,hes shaking that thing pretty hard.WRONG! yep he's over over spanking the monkey in the corner. I'm thinking WTF!,then he turns his head around and ,without missing a stroke,asks to bum a smoke. Of course i said no and just kept walking. Weirded me out a bit.
