MGM Players Club complaint letter

Thats right!! The answer was C.

I couldn't do A because there just wasn't enough time. I would have had to scarf down my food and then make a break for it, risking injury to myself and others speeding to get back to work.

I couldn't do B, because I am not a whiny bitch, and common sense would tell you that there is nothing I could have done, at that point, to get me past those 30 people in line. I wasn't about to try to "bait" the cashier into calling me an asshole, so I could then write a letter, trying to get something for nothing, and subsequently a line pass to the buffet, while risking the job of the cashier, and putting her out on the street, in the process.

I ended up doing C because I had some bucks, I ended up playing 40 bucks worth of 8/5 BP, and lost, then I called my buddy from work on his cell and asked him to pick me up a spicy italian sandwich from Subway, which I finished eating about 20 mins ago.

I couldn't do D, because honestly the buffet food at the Palms has been really bad the last few times that I've been there. I hear nothing but bad reviews from friends and family who have been there about the quality and selection of food that they have there.

Congrats to those who guessed right...

Ask yourself which option you would have taken in that same situation??

Dude, I would totally write a complaint letter!! Tell them the food sucks and you're never going back. Hoser.

Is rhousedj going to come back to this thread? I have been waiting to see which segment of the population he is going to insult next, if he's done with homosexuals and southerners
I wanted to take this time-out to applaud all the posters who have kept this thread on the high road and have not stooped to low levels by attacking the original poster’s character or resorted to name calling, etc. (Bravo). You guys’ exemplify good examples of integrity and class. GOD Bless America & Happy 4th of July. Hopefully, one can learn by your examples.

I am here and it's funny to see how big this thread has become. Karen in my opinion is another Sue. Never has anything nice to say. Then again I have been down to Memphis/Tunica and not sure why anyone would want to live there...Maybe that's why she has a poor attitude.

Wow,

Frank must actually think people care what his opinion is!! Wasting that much time on long posts. Sometimes I think Frank thinks he is Judge Judy or something. I guess just another relative of the Player's Club manager.

Guess what I ended up doing?

Was it.....

A- Waited in line until it was finally my turn.

B- Went to the front of the line to tell them that their casino sucked, and I would never go back there again. Boo hooo hooo

C- Decided, that I wasn't that hungry after all and played some quarter 8/5 bonus poker for a little while instead

D- Cruised over to the Palms to visit their tasty buffet instead :<;

Hey Frankie,

I think that was a poll question on LVA a few weeks ago and the results of that poll showed that someone from Holland, Ohio was the only one that answered B.

We had a sign on the back of my bar. "Everyone who comes thru my door puts a smile on my face. Most, when they enter. A few, when they leave."
Hi rhousedj,
I’m still trying to understand your predicament. I was curious about the moment when you were talking to the casino operations supervisor and when she asked you if there was anything she could do to make the situation right and you said that you didn’t want anything for free but you just wanted an apology from the players club manager, but he refused. In your letter it appears that you’re asking Mr. Galen to remove the last 2 nights from your comp account since you didn’t stay with MGM for the duration of your stay. I’m not trying to be cynical but during that moment when the casino operations supervisor asked you if there was anything she could do to make the situation right, had it not occurred to you at the time to ask for the 2 nights credited back to your comp account. Hindsight is 20/20 and you probably weren’t in the right frame of mind at the time. Anyhow, what have you taken from this whole ordeal that you could teach the rest of us so that none of us ever have to experience the mistreatment that you went through, other than avoiding MGM at all costs (F.Y.I., I’ve never been there nor do I know anyone who works there). We have no control of other people’s behavior but is there anything that you could have done or changed to bring about a different outcome?
I have one more question for rhousedj. If the roles were reversed and you were the players club manager, how might you have handled the exact same scenario?
