Michigan Recount Going Badly, . . .

. . . for Democrats.

More than a third of precincts in Wayne County, Michigan’s largest county and home to Detroit, could be disqualified from the statewide recount because county officials, “couldn’t reconcile vote totals for 610 of 1,680 precincts during a countywide canvass of vote results late last month,” according to the Detroit News.

Most of those are in heavily Democratic Detroit, where the number of ballots in precinct poll books did not match those of voting machine printout reports in 59 percent of precincts, 392 of 662.

Earlier: A single missing ballot was enough to scuttle the recount of Rochester Hills precinct 11.
Wayne County has over 1.7 million residents and voted overwhelmingly for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, at 95 percent. Krista Haroutunian, chair of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers, told the Detroit Free Press that the discrepancies could make 610 precincts across the county (including the 392 in Detroit), ineligible for recount. A final decision has not yet been made.

Hmm, . . . if the "recount" throws out Detroit's votes, President-Elect Trump is likely to achieve an even greater majority than first reported.

How sad it must be to go through life looking at the world with your eyes.
There are few people I pity. You are rapidly becoming one.

A judge nominated by the most liberal partisan president in American history rules in favor of a recount sponsored by the democratci party & billy cannot see a problem.

billy & pj go thru life with their eyes closed & refuse to believe presented facts (see proof of bias in another proof). billy needs to be pitied. PJ is actually a likeable/amusing guy

Yet another post with absolutely no substance, just a veiled insult. I find it highly interesting you call for pity who actually posts something and I bet more than half your posts are calling boiler a moron and most of the rest are posts exactly like this, saying nothing but an insult. Too bad, you started out posting some decent stuff even it was a different opinion (always a good thing having opposing viewpoints), then you've posted pretty much nothing lately.

And you call for pity on SOMEONE ELSE!?, amazing, simply amazing.
WAIT!!! I SEE IT NOW!

Billryan is really Forkushv.
There is no mystery here. This is the result of the typical Republican game to suppress African American votes. The machines in that area are old and broken. If the votes in Wayne aren’t counted there should be a Federal lawsuit filed asking that the results from the entire state be tossed out which would force the Republicans in charge of the state to fix the problems with the voting machines in the African American areas.
The democrats run the county & are responsible for the machines. Republicans hav nothing to do with it
OMG! sore losers -- enuf already!! the dems put forth a HORRIBLE candidate and she lost. millions of Americans, both dems and repubs, were sick of the establishment and were ready for a President that was not a career politician and that is what they voted for. Killary really offended millions and not just repubs, with the deplorables and irredeemables remark. as a career politician of 25+ years she should know better. it is well known, that in a campaign, you and your opponent can insult and call each other names all you want. but doing that to the voters can be career suicide.
