Michigan Recount Going Badly, . . .

OMG! sore losers -- enuf already!! the dems put forth a HORRIBLE candidate and she lost. millions of Americans, both dems and repubs, were sick of the establishment and were ready for a President that was not a career politician and that is what they voted for. Killary really offended millions and not just repubs, with the deplorables and irredeemables remark. as a career politician of 25+ years she should know better. it is well known, that in a campaign, you and your opponent can insult and call each other names all you want. but doing that to the voters can be career suicide.

Agree.

Enough years of Clintons.

And if anybody thinks they cared one bit more about African Americans than anyone else, well that is just the Democrat legacy which has run its course and no longer applies.

My dad was a "yellow-dog Democrat", meaning [in case y'all hadn't heard] he would vote for a 'yellow dog' as long as it was on the Democrat ticket. Once I asked him why he would vote for candidates who are for giving money to people who have no intention of working for a living despite being able bodied. He said "somebody has to do it." That is the Democrat legacy, how the parties were viewed and still are to some degree.
Democrats = welfare, food stamps, money for each illegitimate child.
Republicans = no welfare. Self-responsibility.

The lines of both have become blurred, secondary to politicians appeasing their big money constituents, not middle America.

Welfare? Immigration? Foreign affairs? Support for countries that hate us?

All blurred because there are pros and cons for each.

- Welfare-FDR started it to fix the depression, good cause at the time. Now bloated and abused, fraught with fraud.
- Immigration? Our country is a melting pot of great immigrants. Wasn't everyone an immigrant at some point? Now it is a melting pot of drugs and crime, not all due to immigrants, but with mobility much easier, uncontrolled. Illegals use the ER, get care that working people pay for with skyrocketing insurance premiums.
- Foreign affairs/money to our enemies? Who can figure this out? But no doubt career politicians figure it out and profit from it. How does middle America come out on billions sent to countries that hate us, while a hospital can't afford to hire another nurse (the CEO earns millions, though); same with welfare fraud. Is any of that money recovered and put back into circulation for middle WORKING America?

Yes, folks are sick of the status quo. Rant over. Thanks.

. . . for Democrats.

More than a third of precincts in Wayne County, Michigan’s largest county and home to Detroit, could be disqualified from the statewide recount because county officials, “couldn’t reconcile vote totals for 610 of 1,680 precincts during a countywide canvass of vote results late last month,” according to the Detroit News.

Most of those are in heavily Democratic Detroit, where the number of ballots in precinct poll books did not match those of voting machine printout reports in 59 percent of precincts, 392 of 662.
Ref: Detroit News

Earlier: A single missing ballot was enough to scuttle the recount of Rochester Hills precinct 11.
Wayne County has over 1.7 million residents and voted overwhelmingly for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, at 95 percent. Krista Haroutunian, chair of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers, told the Detroit Free Press that the discrepancies could make 610 precincts across the county (including the 392 in Detroit), ineligible for recount. A final decision has not yet been made.

Hmm, . . . if the "recount" throws out Detroit's votes, President-Elect Trump is likely to achieve an even greater majority than first reported.

I lived in Michigan and know how corrupt Detroit is. How ever I want to clarify per your article : "Under Michigan law, a precinct can't be recounted if the poll book and ballot box numbers don't match, unless there is a valid explanation. In such cases, the results from the original election night tally stand."

So the votes for Hillary will not be discarded, the original vote count stands. I don't see how this would make Trump achieve a bigger number.

I don't normally comment on politics .

Here we go again. If one doesn't vote Democrat, you're instantly a racist. When Mally has nothing, he shouts racist, homophobe...............

You have lost that lying battle.

There is no mystery here. This is the result of the typical Republican game to suppress African American votes. The machines in that area are old and broken. If the votes in Wayne aren’t counted there should be a Federal lawsuit filed asking that the results from the entire state be tossed out which would force the Republicans in charge of the state to fix the problems with the voting machines in the African American areas.

And Jatki wonders why I call you a moron.

DonDiego thanks Siwst852 for the correction. Although it does crush poor old DonDiego's dream of negligent or corrupt election officials being hoist by their own petard.
So, whether intentionally by corruption or accidentally by neglect, in accordance with the Law the "unverifiable votes in Detroit" go to The Hillary.

Billryan is really Forkushv.

Having met him through Bob Dancer,I'd take that as a real compliment if you had a clue of what you are talking about.
I hope I am half as successful as he.
If Forkie is successful I think that is great. I just hope he pays "his fair share".
Billy has nothing intelligent to say, thus he's reduced to slinging insults.

How sad it must be to go through life looking at the world with your eyes.
There are few people I pity. You are rapidly becoming one.

Yet another post with absolutely no substance, just a veiled insult. I find it highly interesting you call for pity who actually posts something and I bet more than half your posts are calling boiler a moron and most of the rest are posts exactly like this, saying nothing but an insult. Too bad, you started out posting some decent stuff even it was a different opinion (always a good thing having opposing viewpoints), then you've posted pretty much nothing lately.

And you call for pity on SOMEONE ELSE!?, amazing, simply amazing.

Billy, please pipe up when you have something of value to say.

Wow, another one of your crazy conspiracy theories Mal, gotta love 'em! Aren't the local leaders responsible for the machines (which is Dem.)?
