Military Care Package for $0.00 + free shipping

I know some of you have service members that may be deployed. I'm sure the stuff will have the Scion logo plastered all over it. Decks of cards were always useful when I was serving.

Saw this over at Slickdeals.net.

Scion appreciates your service and dedication to defending our country.

Scion Military Care Package

We've put a box of Scion gear together with you in mind. We realize it isn't much compared to what you've given but we want to thank you for your support as you serve our country.

Scion Care Packages include some choice Scion swag like beanies, a deck of cards and a complimentary hour of internet access - exclusively for U.S. Military personnel only. Just fill out the request form below and we'll send one your way.

One care package per person every 12 months, please. Availability is limited - so step to it!

Some comments about what's included:

Same shirt design though. Love the included 2GB flash drive

ive got this before.. some pretty cool stuff in there

might be a repost, i know i saw this somewhere but it was MONTHS ago. ordered one and it came with a tshirt, beanie hat, fitted cap, keychain, deck of cards, and some stickers. The cap was gaudy, but everything else was nice, i expected to feel like a walking billboard but that wasn't the case at all.

Just got mine today! Sweet package, thanks. It includes: t-shirt, beanie, key chain, cards, internet card, ringtone card, 2GB flash drive, pen, ear buds.

Got my package yesterday. Lots of stuff in such as key chain, 2GB thumb drive, T-shirt, hat, backpack, 2 music CD's, Chapstick, and playing cards. Nice to get something for free every once in a while for doing your job.
They have to pay for internet? All the money spent over there and we can't pick up the tab for that?

J
I pay 65 dollars a month for internet over here in Iraq.

I'd like the option of sending one to the "any soldier" overseas, but alas they don't have one. I WILL copy the link and hand it out when I go to a job fare on base next week.

I haven't checked it out, but there's anysoldier.com where supposedly they'll tell you how to send a care package, what to send, etc.

I know that, however this is a company that is paying for the stuff and the shipping, why not let them do it?

Not all military members can just run to a workstation and surf wherever they want to. The rec centers are going to limit you in some fashion so others can use the computers.

Noone else thinks this is wrong? I think it's not only wrong but obscene. I would think you would br alotted at least some time,if nothing wlse than read mail from home and whatnot.

JOHN
We actually can read mail from work, but certain things like SKYPE ( the biggest actually) and facebook can only be on your private computer which requires extra cost.

It is worth 65 dollars a month to see my husband and son's face everyday.

I dont want you to think that we are totally deprived, it is a choice to pay if you want SKYPE, facebook or video poker.com
