Mindplay machines 2015

Ok I am just learning about these Mindplay trackers on Blackjack tables that started in 2005ish. Are they still around? How about at Harrahs Las Vegas some/all?
"In 2007 Bally stopped supporting MindPlay. The product was plagued by a host of problems, from the cameras not staying calibrated, to the controller boards malfunctioning. These technical problems along with the need for constant software maintenance by Bally staff contributed to the phasing out of this system."

Nowadays RFID chips permit tracking of chips, but DonDiego doesn't know if any casino is "counting cards electronically".
Thanks DonDiego,
It been a while since I have been to Las Vegas since I have been nurturing a family. Now reaching my near golden years I want to enjoy gaming a bit again. I have been reaching and finding old stuff on Mindplay and now I understand why I can find nothing updated to 2015. Sorry I feel like an idiot for asking and appreciate your response. Just trying to prepare for my visit in November.
Thanks again
Jeff
The real card counters are few in the relative scheme of things. If they wanted the technology to be used and embraced by the public they should make a game of it....such as, at the end of the shoe if the player can accurately state the count he wins a "prize". The casino could still easily keep the players from varying their bets "unfairly" (to the casino that is) and more easily identify the "smart" players. It wouldn't take much tweaking to give the game a casino edge and the rank and file players would be more excepting.
