The Mirage

I'm staying here in two weeks. I've never slept here and have not walked inside the casino for about a decade. Rooms are booked so I'm not looking for advice there, but any other topics would be appreciated.

What should I do, where should I eat, should I do a show, where should I have a drink? Any and all advice would be great. Thanks.
Don't they have the Carnegie Deli? I ate breakfast at the one in Manhattan. They stack the sandwiches with enough meat for three or four sandwiches. What is funny at the one in Manhattan, there was this guy at the next table talking to a group. He was loud and dropping F bombs all over the place where the whole restaurant could hear him. I looked at one of the flat screen monitors and realized he was the owner.

I have no idea if the deli in Vegas is similar to the one in New York.

I thought the food at Carnegie Deli was good but overpriced. I recall paying $15 for a chicken salad sandwich, chips, and drink. It was good...but not $15 good IMO.

The Buffet is pretty solid especially if you find discount coupons.
I like Kahunaville but I think it might actually be at Treasure Island. Still a pretty quick walk.

Love The Mirage; Lobby Bar is a great place to watch people..New steak house is next door and is great..
I used to love it in its heyday. I saw Dennis Rodman and his entourage there. The best looking hookers were there too, but I would imagine they have gone to newer hotels.

They also have the California Pizza Kitchen, but I have two of them near where I live. It isn't worth going to some place in Vegas that you can go to nearby.
Happy hour food and drink is available at most, if not all, restaurants at Mirage.
Mirage remains one of my favorite properties. Carnegie Deli is close to BLT Burger which is pretty decent. The buffet is solid but there are better ones for the buck, Stack is good but Samba sucks. Have not tried Tom Colicchios yet but I would expect good things. Rooms where remodeled about five years ago and are still good but bathrooms are a bit small. Kahunaville is at TI which is an easy tram ride. Sportsbook is one of my favorites with a CPK just steps away. Love is probably the best cirq show on the strip. Little disappointed in the Secret Garden it was no big deal to me. Room service has always been good. Good luck!
I don't like mirage much. Nice rooms. Nice pool. But i spend a lot of time at Caesars or Venetian when i sleep at Mirage. Stack had Tatar tots!
Stayed there 6 times in the last 5 years. Usually get there before noon and check-in, if room is not ready we leave bags at bell desk and head to BLT Burger and await text that room is ready(they already give us the keys but wait to activate them). I love the spiked shakes, burger and fries are good but about $60 for the both of us. Monorail not that far, right through Harrahs. Not a bad walk to Wynn. Caesars right next door. My wife is ready to try someplace else, our one stay at the Wynn opened her eyes to the fact that the Mirage bathroom is not that good. Our only bad stays have been during Electric Daisy Carnival week when late night/early morning revelers woke us up several times. Also I recommend getting a room away from the elevators, they are quite noisy.
