I have not been yet either. I would probably go to check it out though.
I agree with off kilter about how they used to treat gamblers. I am younger so I don't remember those days personally, but my father was a dealer on the strip and downtown a long time ago and his father was a dealer before him. I have heard all kinds of stories about "Old Vegas" and how players were/should be treated. If I were ever to open a Casino I would 100% bring the old customer service back to Vegas. Formal wear required just to get in and high minimums, but if you are a player you would be treated like a KING and your spouse would be treated as a QUEEN. We have had enough theme parks, volcanoes, magic shows etc. Bring back "We comp everything just play and stay with us!" We pay for airfare, food, entertainment, rooms, etc. Have a cool lounge that plays Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack. Have an awesome steak house that only players can eat at, of course have and Italian restaurant that serves authentic Italian food only for players. And instead of making it a huge resort that takes 3 days to walk through, make it large enough so no one is crowded but small enough to were staff can remember all the players names when they see their faces. Each player's experience would be unique and custom suited to them and their interests. "ALL of our players a VIP" could be the commercial slogan.
