Mob of Thieves Swarms Las Vegas Convenience Store

I bet they are all busted within a few days. Its likely a "Prom Prank" or something. All those kids are obviously friends. Police only have to identify one of them to fishnet the rest. The article says $600 of stuff was stolen in total.

My guess is there will be some extended community service and not much else involved with the punishment.

(And now here's where I set myself up for an LVA ass-whooping)
I would say thats probably a fitting punishment. There were no guns. There was no violence. There were no threats of violence. It was a bunch of stupid kids doing some stupid stuff. Some people have a "lockem up and throw away the key" mentality for every crme thats committed anywhere. This is amateur night at the Improv for criminal activity.

Put their faces on the news. Scold their parents. Dress 'em up in orange suits and make them pick up garbage for 100 hours. Lets save prison cells for people worthy of rotting in them.
PJ - I still advocate Boot Camp - they will learn lifelong lessons about responsibility.
I watched one of those shows on TRU TV last night. They showed a robbery at a convenience store, but the doors locked when the clerk pressed the silent alarm button. This would have been perfect for this situation.

This could quickly become an epidemic if it gets all over the internet.
Future Wall Street bankers in training no doubt. All you have to do is rob in mass and nobody will prosecute you. But seriously boot camp for these kids when all those in the mortgage industry get boot camp for their serial fraud.

I saw that too RM. Hilarious! I've seen others on tru TV's worlds dumbest where the crminals get locked in the store. There tune changes real quick when they start begginf to be let out.
Funniest I saw on there was a kid walked in with a peashooter, the clerk took out a cannon, shots exchanged, door locked, left the crook cowering in a fetal position. He got outgunned and outmanned. LMAO. Fortunately no one got hurt.
I know some libs might cry and call an incident like something else than what it truly turned out to be. Which is I almost GUARENTEE that kid will NEVER EVER walk into a store and point a gun at someone. That guy was scared shitless.

JOHN
While this was middle class kids doing prank, it could have easily been ugly when the clerk whipped out a pistol or when one kid that was a friend of a friend of a friend did end up having a gun.

I agree with REAL boot camp, I mean blood, sweat, tears and scared sh!tless bootcamp, orange suit trash picking up detail and a night in grown up jail individually and without your friends checking in and out at the same time.

Is any of this going to happen....no, unfortunately not.

What I want to know is where did they come from and how many cars where they in? And also just a month ago a 7/11 owner was killed and robbed at the bank (also a bizarre incident that imo could have been avoided, he was a very naive and dumb business man, albeit very sad still, I learned those safety skills in college)...what the hell is going on over in this corner of the world. This is supposed to be the "safe" side of town...get out of my neighborhood, you hoodlums, lol!

But unfortunately, this is going to be the beginning of a criminal career for these kids as some of them will end up on drugs and think that being a hood rat is funny and they can get away with crimes until they escalate to real crimes when prank crimes are not enough or they end up with true street criminals.
I would like to combine the front door lock with a hallway. Once they get into the hallway, lock both ends and let them rot until the cops get there. Use bullet resistant glass and they can shoot all the want, maybe line both inside and outside with metal.........
Ironically, I just passed that store on my way from ST to the Silverton. I didn't see anything when I passed by, but it could have been just before or after. Someonme should have had a shotgun to take care of these people. It was obviously a concerted effort to basically rob the conveniece store.
I heard this also happened at a dept store someplace but it was much worse, as they stole quite a bit of stuff.
This is not a Prom Prank, they are becoming a "Flash mob theft rings" around the country

....then the cashier pushes a button and a thick smoke starts to fill the chamber.
lol
It could be harmless steam, but it would sure scare the crap out of them.
